Uber
Uber officially launched in Saint Lucia in January 2026 as an Uber Taxi service. Rides are fulfilled by licensed local taxi drivers through the usual Uber app, with fares shown upfront. Availability is strongest in the north and thins out in rural areas.
Allez
Allez is a homegrown Caribbean ride-share app used across the Eastern Caribbean, including Saint Lucia. It is focused mainly on the north but works island-wide, though you may wait longer outside the busy areas.
Tips
- Have mobile data or an eSIM so you can request and track a ride.
- Set a clear pickup point; many spots look alike to a driver.
- Outside the north, a regular taxi is often faster than waiting for a match.
- Confirm the in-app price, and carry some cash as a backup.
